In a time of generalized discontent over planned exploitation of natural resources on a land where housing and food crises affect the indigenous population, come a few variations on a highly relevant musical commentary: Sundance by Waahli of Nomadic Massive.

The inspiration for Sundance came from a conversation with a member of the First Nations on Prince-Arthur and St-Laurent. “We spoke about human rights and on how historically blacks and natives have similar struggles”- says Waahli, the song’s creator and video scriptwriter.

The album is NOW available online for a suggested donation of 10$. Most of the proceeds made will go to non profits such as the Native Women shelter of Montreal.

En cette période de grogne populaire contre les différents plans d’exploitation des ressources naturelles au détriment des doyens du territoire que nous occupons, voici une critique pertinente… revisitée et remixée : Sundance de Waahli du Nomadic Massive.

Inspirée d’une conversation avec un membre des Premières Nations, à l’angle de Prince-Arthur et du boul. Saint-Laurent, Sundance aborde les parallèles de reconnaissance des droits fondamentaux des Noirs et des Premières Nations dans l'Histoire.

l’album est maintenant disponible en ligne pour une contribution volontaire de 10$ et la majorité des profits iront à des organismes comme le Refuge des Femmes Autochtones.
